Good Tight fit,Excellent Product
Shipping was fast. Cap was good too just wish it had came with rubber inserts. But that was mostly my fault for not checking. Another odd size carried by Pacific trailers.
Now I don’t have to remove the whole dust cover. Just remove the rubber plug..
The rubber insert fit the cap perfectly.
I have a 1995 Ranger R72 boat, purchased in the fall of 1994. The right/starboard hub-rotor got a crack in the rotor and I had a difficult time locating a replacement. Ranger (now Bass Pro) said it would take 12-16 weeks and a special $300+ order to have a new one cast for me. After a lot of searching I found the Trailer Buddy Model DB-42 Disc Brake Hub/Rotor 10 1/4" Diameter - Straight Spindle #41020 SS at Pacific Trailers.
This open end dust cap fits the new DB-42 hub-rotor and will allow me to put grease through the Zerk fitting in the end of the spindle without having to remove the dust cap; a real time saver. You need to get the rubber plug for the end. It doesn't come with the cap. (Rubber Grease Plug for EZ-Lube Bearing Dust Caps #085-001-00 32640) I got a second one for the port side OEM hub-rotor but haven't put it on yet but the specs for both old and new are the same.
1992 ranger trail trailer for my boat. Hard to find correct dust caps, these fit perfectly. Always great service.
I was having trouble finding the right bearing cap. This was is it, perfect fit
