Return, Refunds, & Exchanges

Returning parts/items ordered online to Pacific Trailers is easy. Returns must be initiated within 30 days after the item was shipped.

  • You have 30 days from the ship date to return a product
  • The product must be in re-sellable condition, unopened, in original packaging and condition.
  • You pay return shipping
  • Any, and all custom, trailers are exempt from this return policy

  • Gift cards

Ater a boat trailer is ordered, we immediately begin to cut, weld, and fabricate the metal in order to build your trailer.  Once this process has started, we are unable to give refunds, as we have already committed time and money to build your trailer.

Pacific Trailers promises to expedite your return, exchange, repair or refund as quickly as possible.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • To qualify for a refund, all items must be returned unopened, in their original condition at the time of sale, including the original packaging and all tags, labels, containers, documentation, etc. Do not mark or deface original manufacturer containers in any manner. We will not accept returns if the packaging is opened or not in its original condition
  • All costs related to return shipping must be paid by the customer.
  • Returns received after 30 days from authorization may be refused or subject to a 20% restocking charge.

Refused Shipments
Refused Shipments will be subject to a minimum 10% Re-Stocking charge, return shipping charges plus the current rate UPS refusal fee of $5.00-$10.00 for all shipments. Damaged / Used products will be subject to a minimum 20% Re-Stocking charge.

Return Procedure
The following return procedure must be followed to receive a refund:

1) Login to your account and start the request a return/refund process. 

2) Follow the instructions on how to return your order/items.

3) You will have to pay for the return shipping costs. For your protection, we recommend that all returns be sent back by a traceable carrier (such as UPS, FedEx or USPS Priority) and that the shipment is insured in case the package is lost. Once we receive and process your return we will give you a refund less any shipping costs on your order.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-10 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank/credit account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, call us at (888) 479-6920 (Mon-Fri 7:30a-4:00p PST).

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping
To return your product, be sure you have authorized the returned item by following the steps above.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
